If you are new to the world of kratom, this post is a good jumping-off point for you to start with. By now, you may already know that Maeng Da is just one of the countless varieties of kratom currently available to the end-users; particularly in the West. Kratom, also known as Mitragyna Speciosa is a plant that grows in marshy regions of countries like Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, etc.

Beginners often find that Maeng Da is the best variety of kratom to start with for a variety of reasons. For one thing, it’s supposed to be one of the most affordable ones and for another – it’s rather easily available in stores like The Golden Monk.

It is, by far, the most popular kratom variety out there. Most people will vouch for it. It’s good for several purposes such as relaxation, energy, motivation, pain management, and a lot more.

As a beginner, you would probably pick a rather milder Maeng Da. The Red variety is good to try once you are already acquainted with other milder varieties.

Green Vein

This is another popular variety of Maeng Da. This variety offers a sort of middle ground where the effects are mellow enough for beginners to try in a safe way. Since it’s not the strongest or the most potent kind, it’s good for novice users. But, it’s not so mild either that you don’t experience any effects. You should know that Green is the most common variety you are likely to come across during your search. As a newbie, try sticking with 2-3 grams and no more than that. But, just because Green is mild, doesn’t mean you can go overboard …….
